let's dance, the last dance...

so today was the last day of clinical for the semester, it was so grand. such a great feeling of accomplishment. 4 clinical rotations down [foundations, med-surg, pediatrics, and ob], and 3 clinical rotations to go [community, mental/rehab, and advanced]. the end is in sight.
so today we were at the hospital in the morning, then went to olive garden for lunch, and then went back to school to take the hesi exam. i have been so blessed by all of the girls [and guys] in my cohort, and it such a joy to spend time with them today and be stress free [at least for a few short hours!].









you are all such an inspiration to me. great job finishing another rotation!

spring cleaning.

i hate clutter. i like everything to have a place, a home, and a purpose. lately i feel like my life has been so busy and on the go that my house has just gotten out of control, in particular, my closet. it was a disaster and absolutely driving me crazy. so today, to celebrate being done with lecture for the semester, i cleaned my closet. it was so grand, and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

unnerving.

at work, about to give a nurse's report when the male nurse turns and looks at me and says, "you know, you are very unnerving." i replied by saying "um, what it that suppose to mean?" he replied by saying "it means just what i said, you are very unnerving." um, thank you? is that suppose to be a compliment? i guess i will take what i can get.

perseverance.

perseverance[noun]:
1. steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.
2. theology. continuance in a state of grace to the end, leading to eternal salvation.


i want my life to be about perseverance.
