my name is erin. i am twenty-something.
i long for my life to be about perseverance.
i live in los angeles and long to make a difference here. this city has a need. a need for education, love, healthcare, and Christ. i want to help meet this need.
i graduated from azusa pacific university in may with my bachelor of science in nursing.
i am currently working as an er nurse at centinela hospital medical center in inglewood.
i worked as an emergency medical technician in inglewood and south central los angeles for 2 1/2 years. this job changed my life.
i absolutely love nature and anything that involves being outside amongst God's beautiful creation.
you will hear about my best friend [of 12 years!], and roommate, kara. i love her to death.
you will hear about my bomb family that lives in san diego.
you will hear about my old partner from work, mike, but i refer to him as detoy. he pushes me. he challenges me. he makes me better.
i will also talk about my dear friends grace and margie. they were my rocks and support throughout nursing school and i wouldn't have made it through the program without them. they are both amazing ladies and incredible nurses.
you will also be hearing about the career i am pursuing with the fire service [i would be honored to work as a firefighter paramedic].
you will also get my weekly wednesday [or hump day] posts, my thoughts on life, my struggles, my excitement, my fears, my joys, my discoveries, [a little of..]my photography, and my walk with my Savior Jesus Christ.

i drink too much coffee and believe that an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
